O zespole

One Direction - to zespół (boyband) składający się z początkowo z pięciu chłopaków, pochodzących z Anglii i Irlandii. Stali się sławni zajmując trzecie miejsce w siódmej edycji brytyjskiego X Factor'a. Na przesłuchania przyszli osobno, jednak Nicole Scherzinger po uzgodnieniu z pozostałymi jurorami postanowiła połączyć chłopaków w zespół. Tak powstało One Direction.
25 marca 2015 roku Zayn Malik opuścił zespół, a boyband kontynuował trasę koncertową we czwórkę.
Chłopcy mają już za sobą trzy samodzielne trasy, i są w trakcie kolejnej.
W sierpniu 2015 roku, zespół ogłosił, że po wydaniu piątego albumu zawiesi swoją działalność na pewien czas, po czym wróci do tworzenia.
